On the way to the studio my mind was in so many places. Once there I sat in front of this blank canvas for a long time trying to calm the swirling before launching in. As soon as I let my hands take over & released the constraints in my mind, this portrayal of quiet human contemplation within the layers of self & environment began to spill out & evolve. It changed like the seasons as the hours raced by & I worked through brush strokes non stop until the point of feeling the visual impact align with it's narrative.
