During summer here in Ibiza, many glorious days float around the mid 30° temperatures. Like scattered jewels, women on the beach & in hidden calas stand out as beautiful flowers, each with their own expression, minds full of thoughts, history & future...
Hot days driving to the studio, enjoying the process and keeping cool. On this quiet afternoon I sat down to chat for awhile before I set up my fresh canvas & mounted it on the wall in readiness. Deep blue sky tones, strong sun & the multitude of colours & sights of recent hot weeks filled my mind. A few musicians drifted in as the afternoon heat calmed & the sound of instruments built a new ambience into the night. I consumed myself with the work I was creating, enjoying every brush stroke, darting back and forth between colours as the piece came to life....
