In this recent painting my base coat flew into a multitude of colours creating the background, the piece was completely unplanned, I used soft pastel to first outline my Diva, elements fell into place & she sort-of jumped onto the canvas, I could have clinked glasses with my own wine in the process. Mixing & laying down the paint was interesting, loose & free feeling with a mix of music, wet through to dry brush stokes...& there she is... ; )
